I am currently studying in the UK. One of my favourite ITN programmes is Doramadalawa. In the last week’s programme under the topic ‘IT and English’ the speakers talked about the computer skills developed by Mahawilachchiya school children. I immediately visited your website as I was impressed by the higher appreciation given by all the speakers.
After visiting your website, within a few minutes I could understand what is happening in this rural village. First of all I should give credit to the team who designed and developed this website, it is very simple, attractive and informative. Second, it is free of ugly advertisements and the contents are well layed out.
I would really like to be a part of this team as I understand how much the values of this project mean to the people of this remote village to connect with the rest of the world and say ‘we are with you!’.
I sincerely wish that this great idea will be soon implemented in all the other villages of our motherland.
Well done Mahawilachchiya people, you are an admiration and a great example to the rest of the world.

Great work Mr. wanninayake. The work of your team to empower the rural lively hood is admirable. I am currently doing a research on how to align IT/IS with rurban (This is not ruban or urban)areas and willing to share my experiences with your team.
